Top five threats to a computer?virus protection software
User, user, user, user, user.
Top five threats to a computer?adware
Trojans, windows and my three kids.
1.Spyware
2.Hackers
3.Virus
4.Stupid relatives and friends, who will just parade through your computer in order to take away anything worthwhile that they don't have and most irritatingly, in your absence
5.Yourself, when you are upset, or in a rage
Actually four of them are external. Dust. Power Surges. Electromagnetic fields. Microwaves and then of course, viruses. be well, Jack
First and foremost is the user not 'backing up' their information. Backing up important information should not be backed up the the computer itself but onto removable media and stored away from the location of the computer. I burn Cd's and store them at my brother's house and he does the samething. Then I would guess viruses - malware - trojans and worms etc. The last four can be handled buy software ie. anti-virus software and anti-spyware software.
1. Water.
2. Hammers.
3. Punk kids.
4. Nuclear holocaust.
5. Idiot administrators.
