Computer ppl please help?! I recently made updates. Which one/s should I erase cause I think it&#039

too much space. My computer has been freezing up a lot lately around 30 seconds each time and when I type it's a lot slower than usual. I was wondering if it's cause of my last updates. The last 2 were:

MS XML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978)

Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474)

Do you think this could be a reason my computer is slow? If so, where do I go to delete the program and which one do you recommend to delete? Note: I updated a security update just a month ago that my computer asked me to so not sure why I was asked to update again. This is a new laptop I baught in Dec. It was working fine until a week ago.

I'd recommend that you don't remove any Windows updates, as they are important to your computer's security. First, you should run a virus scan, spyware scan, and registry scan. There are many free software applications available that can run these scans. AVG Free is probably the best free virus scanner, while McAfee is a better paid solution. Spybot - Search %26 Destroy is a great spyware scanning application. You can find several registry cleaner applications available on download.com. Feel free to email me at bnrup@yahoo.com if you have any questions.
