AOL Security update - Critical??

There's this thing that keeps popping up. I don't have AOL, I have comcast. And my security is from McAfee, so I'm wondering if this is just some virus trying to get on my computer.

It says:

The following update is ready to install.

Security Update - Critical: AOL has identified a security vulnerability that can be used to execute malicious code. To correct, install this update. You may need to shut down applications and restart your computer.

And the buttons say "Install Now" or "remind me later".

Should I download it? I also get all my "computer updates" from Microsoft Update.

Thanks in advance.

just ignore it. i used to have aol and switched to comcast because that internet was so messed up. stuff kept popping up, my whole computer went slow, and i always had trouble logging in. if u don't have aol anymore, then there shouldn't be stuff popping up. i wouldn't download if i were you, it would probably just make ur computer slower.

yeah ignore download well I got sick of ignoring so ... then I ran Ad Aware SE identified the files did a google search on them and well that download is for quality management and graphics updates you can google QIF and Viewpoint The download is loaded with bugs. Cheers! Report It

That would be QIT so sorry Report It

I got that message yesterday morning, I run AOL 9.0 security edition , I hit the remind me later button , I later went into the download manager and there was nothing there waiting from AOL. Good question....
yes you will get a virouse
Comcast is your cable supplier, AOL is sometimes software you have installed on your system. Usually its not even necessary software, Try running Adware SE on your system and see if it continues.
