Is there any problem when I have Norton Internet security as well as Yahoo?

When my sons put me into my computer setup, they subscribed with Norton security. I also noticed that my Dell computer had Windows OEM and the sbc Yahoo program I subcribed to might also have some security elements. Is there any possible problem arising out of too much security support?

I suggest you uninstall all security programs, dowload AVG and install it. It is FREE and does everything Norton's, McAfee does - and it is all in the background not in your face like the 2 aforementioned programs. Get it at link below. As a previous person said, never run more than one anti virus program on a PC.

There shouldn't be a problem. However Norton Internet Security is horrible software... albeit, it does its job at blocking access to applications. Hoever, from 90% of the people i've known that has it installed they don't know how to configure it to run properly so the appliction block their normal everyday programs like internet explorer and now their computer doesn't work for them. Ditch Internet Security. Stick with their anti-virus program and windows firewall. works well.
Sometimes, but with the ones you mentioned, there shouldn't be a problem.
Probably not but you can drag down your computer by adding too much overhead. Norton is a pain but should provide all the security you need.
there can be..
