Symantec Security will not allow many pages of the Bible on my work computer...I am trying to look up Deuteronomy 13:6-10 for a Sunday School Lesson tonight...
Why is the Bible banned from my computer at work?microsoft office
Strange that you should choose this particular passage for a sunday school lesson tonight because first of all its not Sunday and secondly this passage is one often used by nay-sayers who are anti-christian. They see this passage as showing God to be unmerciful and a hater...calling for the death of these innocent idolotars who just happen to be stupid enough to believe in false gods and stuff. The problem though and you might want to relay this to your students...what are they 2nd graders?... is that the idolotry and paganism of those days often times led to such fine behavior as sacrificing ones own children, trafficing children in slavery in exchange for sacrificial animals (swine) and trading oneself in temple prostitution as a form of worship. Yeah...it would sorta be like how a parent would feel toward a trusted person who secretly led their child into drug use or pornography or something like that...Jealous God and all that ya know? Wouldn't want someone to parish over the worshipping of a piece of stone or wood...
Deuteronomy 13:6-10
