I recently changed my internet security to Panda Platinum 2007 but find that I cannot connect to the internet until I disable Panda. Something seems to be blocking the internet but I don't know how to rectify this. Can anyone held please. Not very computer literate so layman's language would be most appreciated! Thanks.

Panda is garbage in my opinion. Rated almost at the bottom by experts in the field of antivirus.
If Panda Platinum 2007, comes with it's own firewall and you are running Windows XP Prof., then there will be a conflict with two firewall.
Go to =start=settings=control panel. Look for the XP Firewall an open and turn off the Windows XP firewall if this is the platform that you are using.
If you only have the Panda firewall, then you should get a pop-up from their firewall asking you for permission to access the internet. If you don't get the firewall pop-up get rid of this junk and download an excellent state of the art free version. (I use this myself in one pc).

Their corporate is the same software, they just charge corporate. You will have to fill out a short form and give them your email so they can send you a registration key for the free home version that is good for one year. After the one year is up, all you do is renew the free key. Scans all 175,000 object in my system and will also scan hidden files, compressed files.
